NINCOMPOOP

DANCE PERFORMANCE

In this playful and whimsical dance performance, performers embody comic characters through exaggerated movements and theatrical gestures. Drawing inspiration from slapstick comedy and cartoon-like expressions, the dancers create a delightful world of physical humor and innocent mischief.

Set against an ethereal soundscape that weaves together dreamy melodies and quirky rhythms, the piece unfolds as a series of amusing vignettes that highlight the joy of embracing our inner fool.

This contemporary dance work invites adult audiences on a lighthearted journey that celebrates the universal experience of playfulness, creating moments of pure entertainment through sophisticated choreography and charming storytelling.

"Your ability to realise an exciting public outcome, take real risks and transcend formal barriers resulted in an outstanding original work. The work evidenced successful collaboration with a lighting design that was both well-considered and powerful and an epic experimental live sound score. The performance was an excellent contribution to professional practice, recognisably innovative, creative and of superb quality. A rigorous choreographic process resulted in exceptional performances from all performers.”   by Charles Linehan
